AlpenBooks is gone We are sorry to announce that, after 25 years of distributing outdoor books and videos, AlpenBooks has gone out of business. All of us here have really enjoyed doing business with you, so this is a very sad event for us. There are several other distributors you can turn to, but – unlike AlpenBooks - most do not specialize in books. We would like to suggest you consider Partners West, a book distributor in Renton, WA (they are affiliated with Partners Book Distribution in Holt, MI). For the past fifteen years Partners West has been selling to book stores and gift shops throughout the country, and they are now branching out to include outdoor stores. They already stock from many of the same publishers AlpenBooks did, and they are adding more outdoor publishers every day.
